About the Show
Thursday evenings with Dan are full of up beat songs from a variety of decades, which means music for everyone! Unless you like slow music….. Music genres will mainly consist of Rock, Punk, and Rock and Roll throughout a variety of decades.
We will also be exploring new up and coming Welsh Artists on the show. Looking at who is making new waves in the Welsh scene, trying to get them heard by as many people as possible, and celebrate home grown talent.
Songs from Films! Each week we will be playing three songs that have been written or made famous by the film they feature in. However, this is a quiz! Dan will be posing the questions to you. Can you guess the name of the song, the artist of the song, and the name of the film the song is associated with. 9 points are up for grabs, and on select weeks there will also be a prize to be given out!
3 from 1! We will also be looking at a selected artist every week. We will be selecting 3 songs from the 1 selected artist and learning some weird and wonderful facts about the artist. Some of the artists will be well known, but some will be much more obscure.
And finally, Dan will occasionally be joined by a special guest who will come in and discuss things like music, sports, and films. Just in case you get bored of Dan….
